How to Renew Your Barbadian Passport

Regular Passports

For Persons Over Sixteen years of age

  1. The previous passport if not applying for the first time

  2. The completed form

  3. Three photos

  4. Birth certificate

  5. Barbados ID card

  6. Marriage certificate – if married and female

  7. Divorce document – if divorced and female

  8. Citizenship document if not a citizen by birth

  9. Deed poll if applicable

  10. Any other documents, as requested


Application Form “B”

( Minors / Persons under 16 years of age)

  1. The previous passport if not applying for the first time

  5. Barbados ID of parent

  6. Deed poll if applicable

Parents or guardians must submit the application on behalf of children 16 years or under, accompanied by the minor.

Originals & Photocopies of documents must be submitted

What should I do if my passport is lost or stolen?
If you believe that your passport has been stolen, you are required to report the matter to the nearest Police Station. You will also be required to complete Section 8 on page three (3), indicating the place and time that the report was made to the Police.

   Issue Urgent Passport: US $185

How do I apply for a passport?*
   
    If you are a citizen of Barbados, you may apply for a passport from the Immigration    Department in Barbados, or at one of Barbados' thirteen diplomatic and consular missions abroad. Please note that while the rules for application for a Barbados passport are standard, the procedures may vary from mission to mission. You should therefore check with the relevant diplomatic mission or consulate beforehand.
If you are more than 16 years of age, you should complete an 'Application for a Barbados Passport' Form A in your own hand-writing. Use Block Letters for all names except your signature.
Applications for children under the age of 16 should be made on Form B.
The application form should be accompanied by three (3) photographs. The photographs should not be more than five (5) centimeters by five (5) centimeters and should be taken by a professional photographer.
Please ensure that you sign your name in the boxes provided  at the bottom of page two of the application form as well as the Declaration at Section 11, page four.
The Form and one (1) photograph must also be certified by a person authorized to act as a guarantor. Specimens of passport  forms A and B
